Backing up data to internal storage
To back up all your data into a single .lxb file in your device’s internal storage, go to App Settings → Backup/Restore → Make a backup. The app will then prompt you to choose a folder and grant write permission so it can save the backup file. Once permission is granted, the app will create the backup and show a popup dialog with the name of the resulting file.
Set up automatic backups
In the Premium version, you can enable automatic backups of your data every time you leave the app (as long as you’ve made changes).
To turn this on, go to App Settings → Backup/Restore → Backup automatically and enable the option.
If you haven’t set up a backup before, the app will ask you to choose a folder for auto-backups and grant write permission for that folder.
Whenever you open the app and make changes — like adding or removing words or categories, or studying flashcards — the app automatically saves your data to an .lxb backup file after you close the app.
Up to 5 backup files are stored in the selected folder, keeping a history of your recent sessions.
Restoring your data from a backup
If something goes wrong with your data, or you uninstall the app, you can easily restore everything anytime via App Settings → Backup/Restore → Restore and choose the .lxb file you want to restore.
Please note that all existing local data in the app will be overwritten when you restore from a backup.
