Before the pronunciation worked, now all voices didn’t work
Problem:
I can see a lot of voices in the app, but none of them work.
The possible issue is related to the “Google Speech Services” module and normally happens on Samsung devices with Android 12.
Go to Android settings -> General management -> Text-to-speech
In the Text-to-speech settings window:
- Select “Preferred engine” as Speech Services by Google
- Select your learning language in the field “Language”
- Try to play test phrase by pressing on the “Play” button
Pay attention!
Preferred engine should be selected as “Speech Services by Google”
If it doesn’t work (don’t play sound) – do next:
- Press on the settings icon in the same window
- Select “Install voice data”
- Select your language and Download voice
After that, the Text-to-speech should work.
